Hello, I'm Ying-Jia Lin. I am an upcoming Assistant Professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, College of Intelligent Computing, Chang Gung University. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science, National Tsing Hua University under the supervision of my PhD advisor, Prof. Hung-Yu Kao. I received my PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University in 2024. Before that, I was a master's and undergraduate student at National Yang-Ming University and Chang Gung University, respectively.

Research Interests

My research interests lie in the following areas (but are not limited to):

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Information Retrieval for Large Language Models (LLM)
  • Medical Text Mining
  • Vision-Language Models
  • Sequence Tagging

Status

  • [2024/07]: I started working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science, National Tsing Hua University.
  • [2024/03]: I started doing the 4-month military service in Taiwan (Expected to finish in June 17th, 2024).
  • [2024/02]: I have completed my PhD degree. So happy to be a doctor!
  • [2024/01]: I have successfully defended my PhD thesis.
  • [2023/12]: One first-author paper was accepted by AAAI-24. See you in Vancouver!
